It works as it should. One part needs to be on the inside of the aquarium which is the part with the blades and the other on the outside where you can hold and move it without having to get wet. The blades are just made of plastic so they are not dangerous. But they do their job. Can be a bit difficult to control but i like it still. It can be hard to get the blades on it, but you will get it on, just be carefully and try to find the correct angle to get the blades on it. Becaus the blades does not come connected to it. That you have to do. But its not too hard when you understand how to do it!
